Attorney Louis Ziv is Dead in Chicago

Funeral services were held here yesterday for Attorney Louis Ziv, who died on Friday in his home, 921 Eastwood avenue, at the age of sixty-eight. Burial was in Waldheim Cemetery following services at Beth El Temple.

Russian-born, he was brought to the United States at the age of six by his parents. He came to Chicago when he was nineteen, was graduated from the law department of Lake Forest University and began the practice of law here in 1895. He was the head of the law firm of Ziv, Loomis and Ziv.

He was president of Beth El Temple, a past master of the Logan Square Masonic Lodge, No. 891, a member of the Odd Fellows, Order of Mutual Protection and the Independent Order of Bickur Cholem.

Surviving are his widow, Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Foosner; and four sons, Lawrence M., Royal R., Seymour and John Marshall.
