As a tribute to Henrietta Szold, dean of American woman Zionists and founder of Hadassah, and Mrs. Edward Jacobs, former national president of the organization, the national board of Hadassah will purchase two dunams of land, approximately ten city lots, in their names in the Kfar Ussishkin, the new colony to be established in Palestine in honor of Mendel Menachem Ussishkin.

Miss Szold, now residing in Jerusalem is at present chairman of the Bureau for Settlement of Refugee Children in Palestine. She was at one time a member of the Palestine Zionist Executive, the only woman to have held that office. Mrs. Jacobs has played an important part in world Zionist affairs for many years.
