The trial of Jacob Bienefeld, who calls himself a rabbi, of 1057 Hoe avenue, The Bronx, and his seventeen-year-old son, who were arrested July 26 for alleged soliciting of funds under false pretenses, was postponed yesterday until Thursday by Magistrate Anna Kross in the First District Magistrate’s Court.

Bienefeld, head of the Downtown Synagogue of 96 Liberty street, and his son, were arrested in the drive against charity rackets.
