The strike committee of Cap Makers Union Local No. 1 met in special session last night at its headquarters, 130 Broadway, to take stock of the present strike, which is in its third day. More than 1,200 members were reported to have walked out of factories.

The committee men discussed the demands of the union -an increase in wages and division of work equally in both slack and busy periods—and means of preventing manufacturers from putting out their product.
