As a feature of the “Imperial Klonvokation” of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan being held in Atlanta this week, members of the organization assembled here, met last Tuesday night on the summit of Stone Mountain, eighteen miles from the city, to perform the ceremony of the “Fiery Cross” for the first time in ten days.

Approximately 650 Klansmen witnessed the rites on top of the mountain which was the birthplace of the Klan. Tuesday’s sessions of the national meeting were featured by addresses of Imperial Wizard Hiram Wesley Evans and chief of staff M. O. Dunning.

Plans are being made for a nation-wide reorganization of the Klan for the avowed purpose of combatting “Un-Americanism and Communism.” All Americans, “Jews and Catholics included,” were invited to participate in the campaign.
