The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude, Louis Barlassina, yesterday delivered a full report on present-day Jewish immigration into Palestine and the economic role of the Jews during the boom times in the Holy Land to Pope Pius XI.
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned from papal circles that the report was neutral and lacked the usual anti-Jewish spirit so noticeable in previous reports submitted to the Vatican by the Latin Patriarch.
