In the death of Victor Jacobson, the Zionist movement lost a talented and experienced diplomat, High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope declared today in a statement to the Jewish Agency for Palestine. “He was an esteemed member of the Zionist Executive and did important work for many years. I deeply sympathize with you in your loss,” the High Commissioner’s statement concluded.
