Brazilian Jews were entirely responsible for a recent clash between Brazilian Fascists and anti-Fascists, in which three were killed and thirty wounded, Offensiva, Brazilian Fascist newspaper declared in a statement issued today.

The paper called upon the workers of Brazil to take note of the fact that Jews “are the enemies of our country.”

A friendly reception was accorded 200 German Jewish refugees who arrived here on the Brazilian liner, Cuyaba, as immigrants, however.

Brazilian newspapers, commenting on the arrivals of the refugees from Nazi Germany, adopted a sympathetic tone.
