In view of the fact that registration dates for the fall elections in Pennsylvania fall on Jewish holidays this year, Jewish voters were urged in a message by the rabbinate to register on Thursday, September 6, or Tuesday morning, September 18. The dates set for registration were September 6, September 18, the eve of Yom Kippur, and October 6, which falls on a Saturday.
