Seven Jewish colonies in Poland and Jewish farmers in Bessarabia, Rumania, were materially assisted by a $5,000 fund raised by the Women’s Association of American ORT, the organization was informed by Dr. Aaron Singalowsky, director of the world ORT, organization for the promotion of technical trades and agriculture among the Jews of Eastern Europe. Mrs. Florence R. Dolowitz is president of the American group.
