Samuel Ornitz, author of “Haunch, Paunch and Jowl,” will speak at the Saturday night performance of the new film, “Ernst Thaelmann—Fighter against Fascism,” which was recently brought from Germany. The film began a four-day run at the Twenty-eighth Street Theatre yesterday.
Ornitz is one of many American writers and artists who have endorsed the campaign to liberate Thaelmann. The Thaelmann Liberation Committee is presenting the film.
