Maryla Karwoska, prima donna, and Janusz Poplawski, leading tenor of the Warsaw Opera House, will arrive October 4 on the S.S. Kosciuszko to sing in the Moniuszko opera, “Halka.” Performances will be given in New York, at the Mecca Temple, the evening of October 7; Philadelphia, at the Scottish Rite Temple, October 8; Boston, at the Opera House, Columbus Day, October 12.
