Manhattan Post No. 1 of the Jewish War Veterans will hold its thirty-fifth anniversary celebration with a dinner and dance at the Hotel Lismore on October 27, according to an announcement yesterday by Thomas Goldstein, publicity chairman for the event. The post was founded in 1894 and is one of the oldest veterans’ organizations in the country.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
