The tragic plight of a group of 380 German Jewish refugees, who have been wandering around the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas on a steamer for weeks without finding a place to land, was revealed today, when the Greek government refused them permission to settle permanently.

Last week Greek authorities granted the refugees a temporary haven on the island of Syra, but permission was withdrawn today and the refugees ordered to leave at once.
