The Kurhessische Landeszeitung reports the detention of two Jewish butchers, Moses Katz of Spangenberg and one Speier of Baumbach, for slaughtering according to the traditional Jewish ritual, declared illegal in April of last year by the Nazis.
The story assails the Jews for their alleged cupidity in killing animals contrary to the law in order to command higher prices. That the culprits’ establishments will be padlocked by the authorities for their offense, is the hope expressed by the paper.
