SEEK VOTING BLOC

The significance of this action lies not so much in the threat of a Nazi-supported candidate winning office but in the fact that a deliberate campaign has been launched to restore the “hyphenate” voting blocs to American political life.

Typical Nazi measures will be invoked to establish a German-American voting bloc and a German vote amenable to discipline.

Such an example, if successful, is bound to be followed by other racial elements. It does not require much imagination to visualize, if this political alignment on lines of racial origins is carried to extremes, a situation in this country analogous to that in one of the post-war Balkan states.
