Warning against the “Jewish inundation” of the legal profession, the Gazeta Warszawska has launched an attack upon Jewish lawyers by issuing the following four guiding principles for handling the situation:
1) Poles should engage the services of Polish lawyers only;
2) Polish lawyers should not permit Jews to serve apprentice-ships in their offices;
3) The government should forbid Jews to enter the legal profession until such time as the percentage of Jewish lawyers is proportionate with the percentage of Jews in the general population;
4) Unless they wish the Jewish intellectuals of Poland to have the same fate as those of Germany, Jews should discourage their youth from entering the legal profession.
