Max Ophels, a German Jewish refugee and formerely a motion picture director in Germany, today received a government prize for his film “Signora Di Tutti,” exhibited at the biennial international competition at Venice.
Ophels’ film received the award as the technically best Italian film exhibited. Presentation of the prize was made by the Minister of Corporations.
