The principal speaker at the testimonial dinner to be tendered Louis Schiff this Monday evening at the Jewish Community Center here will be Louis Lipsky, former president of the Zionist Organization of America and only American member of the World Zionist Executive.
Mr. Chiff, in whose honor the banquet is being arranged, has been active in local Jewish communal life for the past thirty years, serving as chairman of the Plainfield unit of the Jewish National Fund for the past decade. He is one of Plainfield’s earliest Jewish settlers, a resident since 1889.
