Founders of Kidmah (Progress), the new element within the General Zionist Organization, point out that they do not intend to establish a separate autonomous body but a united group within the ranks of the General Zionists.

They desire to federate progressive Center Bloc members to secure a change in policy and a consolidation of their principles on the basis of independent General Zionism in the light of the Cracow resolutions.

Veteran Progressive Zionists, German General Zionists and the Zionist Youth are all reported supporting the new effort.
