Sir Oswald Mosley’s brand of Fascism, with its constant attacks and incitement against the Jews, is merely “an old-fashioned dodge of tyrants the world over,” George Lansbury, Laborite leader, told a large audience in a municipal election rally.

Mosleyite propaganda is an effort to discredit democracy and is deliberately intended to force people into the position of choosing one man, the veteran Laborite leader said, adding that in Great Britain such tactics would surely fail.
