Dr. Michael Levine, Columbia ’13 president of the Alumni Association of the Graduate Schools, was one of nine Columbia alumni who received awards last night for distinguished achievement in science and education. Dr. Levine was honored for his work in preventive and curative medicine.

Israel b. Shalom suffered martyrdom in Grodno on the Rosn ha-Shanah of 1659.
