Renewed attacks on Jewish students today by bands of Endek anti-Semitic students led to the issuance of an appeal by the rector of the University of Krakow to end the disorders on the campus. The rector condemned the “wily assaults against the defenseless Jewish students.”
The attacks which took place today on the university grounds were even more brutal than those which occurred yesterday and Monday.
Jewish student organizations submitted a memorandum to the university authorities containing the names of more than twenty Jewish students who were injured by the anti-Semites.
Four Endek students appeared in court today in connection with Monday’s anti – Jewish clashes. They were sentenced to jail terms ranging from three to fourteen days.
