Congregation Ohabai Shalome has sold the synagogue which has housed it for nearly half a century and will erect a new house of worship. Rabbi Michael Fried is spiritual head of the congregation.
One of the earliest rabbis of this congregation was the late Dr. Isadore Myers, father of Carmel Myers, film star.
