Temple Israel was credited today with showing the way out of financial difficulties which have affected synagogues in recent years.

A campaign which officially ended Monday resulted in increasing the income from annual membership dues by 32.6 percent above that of last year.

At the same time members signed specially devised bank forms whereby dues will be paid automatically, assuring a continuous flow of funds into the synagogue’s treasury.

A. B. Cohen and M. L. Goodman were in charge of the drive. Dr. Max Arzt is the rabbi of the congregation.
