No special instructions from the Greek government with regard to Jews applying for visas have been received by the Greek Consulate General in New York, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was informed yesterday by Consul P. Androulis.

Asked whether he could account in any way for the new order reported to have been issued by the Athens government, which forbids visas to foreign Jews unless approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Androulis said he though the order was “highly improbable.”
