More than $12,000 in cash was contributed for the Palestine Labor Campaign by an audience of 800, which gathered at Dorchester to hear Zalman Rubashow, associate editor of Davar, Palestine Hebrew daily.

Rubashow called for “a strengthened Jewish community in Palestine based on the principle of labor equality and social justice as the only answer to Fascism and the ever-increasing persecution of the Jews.”
