London Paper Prints Bialik Hebrew Poem

For the first time in the history of the British press, an English newspaper today had printed punctuated Hebrew characters.

In an article by Lady Erleigh on the revival of Hebrew, the London Times carried a whole strophe of the poem called “Bassadeh” (In the Field), by the late Chaim Nachmann Bialik.
