The Palestine Office denied yesterday that certificates permitting entry into Palestine had been granted to any of the 318 Jewish would-be immigrants to the Holy Land who spent over two months aboard the Greek ship Velos in an unsuccessful attempt to land at some Mediterranean port when they found it impossible to enter Palestine.

A report that some sixty of the wanderers, who have returned to their homes in Poland and nearby countries, had been granted Palestine certificates was circulated several days ago.
