The Jewish Immigrant Aid Society will open an emergency campaign for $15,0000 with a luncheon at the Montefiore Club December 23.

The support of charitable, religious and cultural organizations has been pledged, following a recital of the financial plight of the society at a special meeting.

Benjamin Robinson, president, reported that the society was committed to continue to take care of bills run up in provincial hospitals for the maintenance of indigent Jewish immigrants. He and Joseph Schafran were elected co-chairmen of the campaign, with S. W. Jacobs, M. P., and Lyon Cohen as honorary heads.
