Charles Kensington Salaman was elected to the English Royal Academy at the age of ten.

Dr. Leo Jung was principal speaker yesterday at graduation exercises of the Downtown Talmud Torah at the Educational Alliance, 197 East Broadway. Fifty-eight students received diplomas for the five-year course.

Other speakers included Bernard Semel, honorary secretary of the Jewish Educational Association; Abraham Krumbien, vice-president of the Talmud Torah and Israel Konowitz, principal.
