Preparations were being made today for the funeral of Saul Krinsky, oldest Jews in the Bialystok region, who died yesterday in the village of Koryczin at the age of 108.

During his lifetime the centenarian was noted for the superb state of his health, a condition he attributed to his abstemious habits. To the very end, he persisted in his custom of fasting every Thursday in addition to the regular fasts prescribed by the Jewish religion.
