Georgia Temple Marks 75th Year Anniversary

Temple Beth Israel will celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of its founding Wednesday night. Rev. Ed. F. Cook, pastor of Mulberry Methodist Church, will bring greetings on behalf of the churches of the city.

Addresses will be delivered by Rabbis David Marx of Atlanta and George Solomon of Savannah. Rabbi E. Marcuson of Beth Israel, who is also recording secretary of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, has been spiritual leader of the local congregation since 1894.

Simon Sterne drafted the Interstate Commerce Act upon the request of the United States Senate Committee or Railways.
