Contributors gave $10,500 in a half hour at the opening meeting of the annual campaign by the Federation of Jewish Charities. The quota is $25,250 and the drive continues until next Sunday.
Dr. Philip R. Goldstein of New York and Assemblyman Joseph Altman of this city head the drive.
