Plans for the formulation of a congress composed of all Jewish youth organizations were discussed yesterday by delegates of thirty-four bodies at a meeting sponsored by the Manhattan Council of the youth division of the American Jewish Congress at the Jewish Club, 23 West Seventy-third street.

George Brussel Jr., chairman of the parley, precipitated the discussion by advocating a “permanent congress of Jewish youth organizations for the expression of common will and for the protection of the rights of Jews throughout the world.”

The delegates will report to their respective groups in the near future and a vote will be taken. Officers of the ASC youth division expressed confidence that the plans will be approved.

Included among the speakers were Magistrate Jonah J. Goldstein and Rabbi William F. Rosenblum. Rabbi Rosenblum discussed the significance of the development of Jewish youth consciousness. J. Sloane Immerman, chairman of the conference committee, also spoke.
