Gov. Lehman Sworn in for Second Term

Governor Herbert H. Lehman was inaugurated for his second term before a distinguished company in the Assembly chamber here today.

The Governor took the oath, which was administered by Edward J. Flynn, Secretary of State, as the climax of a ceremony from which much of the usual pomp and ceremony had been eliminated. Injection of simplicity was at the Governor’s request.

Democratic leaders from all parts of the State were in attendance. Postmaster General Farley represented President Roosevelt
