Meeting here, the Yiddish Pen Club of Warsaw sent a letter to the Hebrew Pen Club in Tel Aviv vigorously protesting the campaign against use of Yiddish which has been renewed in Palestine in connection with the appearance of a new Yiddish fortnightly, Naje Welt.

The protest was dispatched to Palestine after the local organization had received a letter from the Yiddish Writers and Journalists Club in Palestine acquainting them with the situation. A demand was made that the prestige of Yiddish in Palestine be protected.
