Fitfeen hundred Jewish leaders from every part of the country and representing many national organizations will attend the National Conference on Palestine, which will be held in Washington on January 20 and 21, Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America, which was instrumental in summoning the conference, announced yesterday.

Development of a program to accelerate the rebuilding of the Jewish National Home in Palestine is the avowed purpose of the session, which has been called together on a non-partisan basis.

Among its sponsors are the American Jewish Committee, the American Jewish Congress, B’nai B’rith, Independent Order of Brith Abraham, Hadassah, National Council of Jewish Women, National Federation of Men’s Clubs, and the Rabbinical Assembly of America.

Delegates are now being elected in many communities. They will come together on January 20, which coincides with the first annual observance of Palestine Day, when rabbis in every city are expected to devote their addresses to the subject of the upbuilding of the Holy Land.
