The Jewish Ministers Cantors Association will celebrate its fortieth anniversary with a concert at Madison Square Garden in March, it was decided at a conference yesterday at the National Theatre Building, Houston street and Second avenue.

The Garden event, in which five hundred cantors are expected to participate, will presage a series of concerts and lectures to be held throughout the country. Funds thus raised will be used to alleviate the distress of unemployed cantors. It is hoped to raise $100,000. A similar campaign in 1924 at the thirtieth anniversary proved successful, it was pointed out at the meeting.

A memorial service for Cantor M. Fine, who died two weeks ago, was held during the afternoon session. Rev. P. Jassinowsky was chairman of the meeting.
