Hungarian Jews are holding a number of memorial tributes for Adolf Sonnenthal on the occasion of the centenary, which occurred on December 24, of the birthday of this world-famous actor.
Sonnenthal, whose father had a draper’s shop and who himself apprenticed to a tailor, was born in the Koenigsgasse in Budapest on December 24, 1834.
