Governor Harry W. Nice’s action in issuing a Palestine Day proclamation calling upon Jews and non-Jews alike to observe the day on Sunday elicited expressions of gratification in Jewish circles here today. A similar proclamation was given out by Mayor Howard W. Jackson of this city.

In connection with the observance of Palestine Day, Rabbi Adolph Coblenz of the Chizuk Amuno Congregation will speak over station Wfbr Thursday evening. Another local broadcast marking the event will be conducted Sunday morning over the same station.
