Several rallies are being held by German groups in this vicinity to celebrate the Reich’s victory in Sunday’s Saar plebiscite.
The League of Friends of New Germany, led by Dr. Hubert Schnuch, sponsored a mass meeting in Yorkville Casino last night. Other celebrations are planned by branches of the Nazi organization in Union City, N. J., tonight; in Nassau County, Sunday; in Staten Island, Saturday, and in White Plains, January 26.
The American National Socialist League, rival Nazi group led by Anton Haegele, also announced plans for a celebration, to be held in Yorkville Casino tomorrow night.
