More than 1,500 persons, representing all this city’s Orthodox congregations, participated in the election which returned Rabbi Nathan Katz, formerly of Weirton. W. Va., as Orthodox rabbi for this city. He is thirty years old.
B’nai B’rith lodge 138 has chosen Dr. J. Lester Kobacker its president. Harold Green, Arthur Feinberg and Philip Paris are other officers elected.
