The question of whether the mayor of Jerusalem should be a Jew or a Moslem was discussed at length today by Major James E. F. Campbell, Commissioner of the Jerusalem District, and representatives of the Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine, following the verdict on the elections which the Palestine Court of Appeals issued yesterday. The verdict states that Ragheb Bey Nashashibi, retiring mayor who was defeated in the municipal elections
