Poland Dissolves Council of Lwow

The council of the Lwow Jewish community, an official body, today was dissolved by government authorities and a government commissar was immediately appointed to supervise the Jewish community.

The commissar will be assisted by an advisory board consisting of eleven assimilationist Jews, regarded as pro-government, and five Zionist members.

The council was dissolved on the ground that the terms of the members had expired.
