A series of ten lectures on Maimonides by Dr. Meyer Waxman, of the Chicago Theological College, will feature the local celebration of the sage’s 800th birth anniversary. Beginning February 13 and continuing to April 17, the lectures will be held on Wednesday evenings at the Jewish People’s Institute in cooperation with the College of Jewish studies.
Chicago Hadassah will launch its annual Give-and-Get Dinner, with Mrs. S. H. Soboroff in charge, January 29 at the Palmer House. Rabbi Solomon Goldman will be guest speaker.
