British Groups Unite to Aid Jews in Poland

No Paper Tomorrow

A united appeal for funds for Polish Jewry will be launched here on March 29, it was announced today. The appeal will be issued jointly by the Federation of Jewish Relief Organizations in England, the Federation of Polish Jews in Great Britain, the ORT, the Oze, and the Association of Rabbis.

The Board of Jewish Deputies, at its meeting next Sunday, will take up the question of endorsing the appeal. The funds collected will be sent to Poland to be distributed there among the Jews whose plight was reported to British Jewry by Neville Laski, president of the Board of Jewish Deputies, after his recent visit to Poland.

No Paper TomorrowThe Jewish Daily Bulletin will not be published tomorrow, Lincoln’s Birthday. It will appear as usual on the following day, February 13.
