In the presence of 360 delegates representing 138 townships, the convention of the Zionists of West Galicia opened here today, addressed by Dr. Schwartzbart, president of the World Union of General Zionists.
Dr. Schwartzbart reported on the internal situation in the Zionist organization and on the question of promoting peace within the movement. He emphasized that the General Zionists are preparing a plan for the reform of the organization of the Zionist Congress in accordance with the resolutions adopted last August by the world conference of General Zionists in Krakow.
