Governor Lehman today accepted an invitation as guest of honor at this year’s revival of the Jewish charity ball by the Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum at the Waldorf Astoria in New York on April 6. The ball will be the Asylum’s first since 1910.

The Governor was visited by a delegation from the Brooklyn Hebrew orphanage including King’s County Judge Algeron I. Nova, president of the institution; Jesse Baar, chairman of the charity ball, and Speaker Irwin Steingut, a member of the orphanage board ### directors.

Mr. Baar and Judge Nova told Governor Lehman that the orphan asylum expects, through the revival of the charity ball this year, to raise $50,000 which must be used to pay for improvements already begun at the orphanage, at 373 Ralph avenue, Brooklyn.
