A warning that, unless “we keep our heads and are not fooled by catchy phrases,” a Hitler might gain control of this country, was sounded at a symposium Monday night on “Two Years of Hitler” by Bishop Francis J. McConnell, speaking at the Washington Heights Y. M. H. A. Other speakers included Rabbi Benjamin Goldstein, Nathan Frankel and Miss Winifred Chappel.

All local branches of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization have scheduled many activities for the ensuing weeks, it was announced yesterday by Hortense Schlang, national executive secretary.

The Jewish Graduate Society of Columbia University held an open meeting last night, featured by a panel discussion on the question, “Are the difficulties of the Jews best solved in terms of the ‘Jewish Problem’ or as part of the world problem?’ “

The Barnard Menorah Society and the Jewish Students Society of Barnard College held a symposium yesterday afternoon on “Protestantism, Catholicism and Judaism.” Each religion was represented respectively by Rev. Herbert E. Evans, Father George Ford and Rabbi Isidor B. Hoffman.

March has been designated as Young Judaea Month by that organization which will launch a nationwide effort to enlarge the scope of its activities, it was announced yesterday by Mrs. A, H. Vixman, executive director.
